| Remember the days when Xanga was the craze? Then came Friendster, then MySpace, and now Facebook. I recently received an e-mail from the Xanga team saying that if I didn't post something new, they would delete my account. I don't want that because a while ago I started to read through my old posts and realized that it was a great way of keeping track of what I used to do and how I used to feel. I used to post all the things that I used to do and all the upcoming activities from back in high school. It was nice going back and reliving those memories.
Maybe one day when I am less busy I will continue doing that again, but for now, goodnight and back to studying for finals!

| what a week..parents were out of town in Chicago for 6 days and my sister was at my grandparents' house...that left me here in the hills all alone. But no, that didnt mean "party time!" like how most people said. It was just chill time for me to do nothing and whatever i wanted to do. But in doing that, i got myself into a bit of trouble once the parentals got back. So I sit here right now, in the state of being grounded, for who knows how long. I am continually being reminded by all of my friends about all the fun I've missed over the past couple days. My mom didn't let me go to the beach party for Darlene or Disneyland today with all my buddies. Man, that really sucked. There were 3 things that needed to be completed over the summer--Six Flags, a beach trip, and Disneyland. The first one got done, and the last two were gonna happen sequentially. We won't really get into the reasons of my groundage, but let's just say I've already learned my lesson. I guess I could say though that the good times I had were worth it. here's a brief description of the past week: Anup's house for video games on Thurs, then Wedding Crashers and uhh don't remember what I did on Fri--probably nothing. Sat was crazy--basically spent it @ USC and Pak Day LA 2005. Sunday was chill time; got a hair cut, dinner at Cheesecake Factory in Old Town Pasadena on Monday; Tuesday I finally saw Paheli. Senior pictures were yesterday--I think they should come out nice..I can't wait to see the proofs. I hand-washed my car today so its clean! Now the plan is to finish watching second season of 24 and start studying like crazy before the summer ends. Listen up kiddies who text me: Verizon Wireless has gotten even shittier by raising their text rates to 10ยข sending/receiving. Yeah, I'm the loser who doesn't have a text plan and this is their way of making me get one. But until I do, let's keep the texting down to a bare minimum because the bill is already high enough. Ok I think this update is complete and should have kept you entertained for a few minutes. byes. | | |
| oh so bored...
so i've been here in Arcadia since last Thursday and i'm going to be
here until this Thursday. fun huh? well it's been pretty chill doing
whatever I want and hanging out with the family but I'm bored now.
Ambreen, Anup, and I went and did our volunteering yesterday at COH and
the new hospital looks really nice...it's so big. But only a couple
more weeks left of volunteering..we just gotta reach our 100 hours or
whatever. I went to Baskin Robbins last night and saw Hasan..yay! good
times seeing you buddy after so long. Oh and it was great bumping into
Anisha, my old buddy from elementary school i hadnt seen in seven
years, at the mall on Sunday. i really wanna get together with all my
Arcadia buddies...so if you live in Arcadia and know me...leave me a
comment and let me know and we'll get in touch.
only 4 more episodes left of 24 season 1...cant wait
to watch the second season. I rented the Aviator the other night and
watched the first half hour of it and was so bored that I just turned
it off. Maybe I should just go and rent a hindi movie tonight. yup,
that's what i'll do--Bunty Aur Babli. =)

| lalalala...just got home from Amanda's pool party...good times with the gang swimming, kareoking, eating, and going on an adventure on the dark road to lie under the stars. tomorrow is monday which means volunteering at the hospital. The big move to the new hospital is on Friday so we're gonna be pretty darn busy for 7 hours...blah. This is random but my hair is really gross and curly/poofy from not doing my regular blowdrying/styling after swimming. i'm contemplating whether or not i should go shower right now or if i should just not care since i'm tired. Oh yea, we're trying to plan our family vacation which is 2 weeks away and we havent booked anything yet. As of right now it looks like we're going to Cancun for a week. unfortunately, i'm not too excited. Honestly, i dont even want to go on vacation. Theres a lot of family probs going on right now and i dont think its the best time to go be happy. Maybe i should just start my summer AP reading. how sad. what am i doing?--giving up one week on the hot sand at the beach in Mexico to instead be sitting on my ass at home and reading gay books. k yea im pathetic, but whatever happens will happen. I'm still looking for a job and i have an interview on tues but i really dont think i'm gonna get that job since so many people have interviews and are applying so i just might not go. I still feel really bad about the American Eagle interview on thursday...i kinda blew it but maybe it just wasn't my destiny to work there. whenever i start getting excited about something, it always gets taken away from me or doesnt work out for me. sigh. I'm really enjoying watching 24..i try to watch a couple episodes every night. i cant wait till i'm done so i can finally start the second season. btw, does anyone have that on dvd so i can borrow it? let me know. Not much more to talk about. ill update more later. gnite | | |
| hmm sorry i've kinda given up on this xanga. but since it's summer now i figure i can update. Of course lots of things have been going on since my last entry in March. Ok so first of all, thank God that i made it through junior year alive. Times were rough but I did it with the help of all my friends. AP tests and SAT I's and II's were a bitch. Then the end of the year projects were crazy..project in every class all due near the same date. Then finally it ended and i'm a happy camper now on vacation. =) Oh so i started looking for a job around April..well at least i picked up applications then but my lazy ass never turned them in until just a couple of weeks ago so obviously i have no job yet....but i'm still looking for something. if anyone has or knows of any offers, let me know. Then in June there was a tragedy...my computer crashed. =( yes, for those of you who know me will know it was devastating for me. Then nefy came to the rescue and recovered all of my files and everything! Thank you Nefy <3 So now things are all peachy, i'm enjoying my summer but i'm a bit bored like most people. I'm not looking forward to all the english AP reading i still need to start. Lately I've been sitting in my room watching tv, movies, and the season of 24 since i finally got a dvd player in my room and the cable finally works up in there. i'm convincing my dad to get dish network so i can watch all those indian channels cuz i wanna be a fob (ok j/k) Umm..i dont know what else to say. i'll try to start updating more from now on. so keep looking out for new stories. byee | | |
